1. Bookings & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of written confirmation from Smart Transfers Scotland. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion. It is the passenger's responsibility to provide accurate pick-up and drop-off details, flight numbers, and contact information at the time of booking.

2. Payment

Payment is due in full prior to travel unless a credit account has been agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer and major credit or debit cards. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Waiting time, parking charges, and tolls incurred during a journey may be charged in addition to the agreed fare.

3. Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled pick-up time may be subject to a cancellation charge of up to 100% of the booking value. Amendments to bookings are subject to availability and must be requested in writing as soon as possible.

4. Flight Monitoring

For airport transfers, Smart Transfers Scotland monitors flight arrivals and will adjust pick-up times accordingly at no extra charge. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to air traffic control delays, extreme weather, or airport closures.

5. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and courteous manner towards our drivers and vehicles. Smart Transfers Scotland reserves the right to terminate a journey without refund if a passenger's behaviour is deemed unsafe, abusive, or in breach of these terms. The consumption of alcohol or illegal substances in our vehicles is strictly prohibited.

6. Luggage & Property

Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings. Smart Transfers Scotland accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage or personal property during transit. Please ensure all items are accounted for upon departure from the vehicle.

7. Liability

Smart Transfers Scotland carries full public liability and passenger liability insurance as required by law. Our liability is limited to direct losses arising from our negligence and does not extend to consequential losses, missed flights, or missed connections. We strongly recommend that all passengers hold appropriate travel insurance.

8. Privacy

Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your transfer and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle your data.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
